Specifications

Modern wooden boat ( sailing-rowing) hull mahogany (sapelli) with main sail and jib teak deck

15 ft daysailer is a copy of the boat "Fan-der-Flit". Engineer is Mr. A. Fan-der-Flit  -at the  beginning of the 20 century (about 1905) in St. Petersburg had constructed a boat, which could be easy steered, stable and safe and which could be applied for recreational boating, and which  could be used for practicing the yachtsmen- beginners.

The boat is built of wood (Siberian pine). In the operation the boat has satisfied all the hopes of the design. In the long run the boat builders did their own corrections and diverged from the original design and its parameters, as a result the boat has lost some of its features.  In 1940 the group of Leningrad constructors have restored the "Fan-der-Flit" authenticity and named it "  Fofan" . Making use the copy of such drawings the boat was built ,,Tosca’’
